HERE IS MY BLOG ABOUT SOME OF MY WORK

http://cliechtenstein.wordpress.com/

Here I may talk about my film business, and I share motivational things and tips. Some of my other work has got to do with fighter avation. Tonight I'm going over how a jet went into a flat spin, and in a few days will have that composed and posted. I work long hours, so I only post the important things. But my blog is fun too. I used some engineering and mechanical skills to put together a car, and it's in this blog early on, this winter. Enjoy!

How to Deal with Difficult People

As a Project Manager you will run into difficult people to work with on your projects and to be an effective PM you need to master the ability to work with these people since they are part of your Project Team.

Red, amber Green Blue - addtional thoughts

I've extensively used the green, amber, red and blue (completed or on-hold) color scheme for most of my projects. I have found that they are an effective method of communicating quickly and clearly which projects are progressing well and which ones are at risk. Usually only the red and yellow projects get discussed in status and management meetings.

One of the things I always make sure that is included in any project report is the meaning of the colors. Different projects use… Continue

Honey stop the car! Is that PM governance and (gasp!) portfolio decisions based on project performance happening in the …

Federal Government?

I’m almost at a loss for words.

The New CIO at the VA, Roger Baker, is now holding IT projects to milestones and stopping projects when they don’t make the milestones. He claimed he would do it when he started in June.

Is he the Eliot Ness of Project Management? Holding true to his word he’s put 45 IT projects… Continue

What Everybody Ought to Know About Switching Careers to Project Management

I love it when people connect with me. It helps me to know that real people are out there somewhere behind the screen of my laptop.

I can't believe you all fit in there. It must be cramped. Technology is amazing.

That said, on with the show.
