(Given that retrospectives are correctly handled that is, there's no magic saving you from bad retrospectivity.)

I've also heard people talk about how respect for others grow with each retrospective. Some days ago I… Continue

What did you expect?

When things go really well it's most often because expectations were met to the satisfaction of the stakeholders. Failure is by definition about dissappointment which is about delivering below expectations. Hey, that's great! Because it makes us all potential winners. Even if you can't always be in control of all events you can always be in control of expectations. In fact:

It's all about Expectation Management.

Always. At every time. Whenever we set out to… Continue

This is of course partly because our solution so far lacks a planning tool since we've always been focusing on Project execution. Our users often use some "external" tool, export the plan a MS Project XML and the import it into our system. Other users are fine with using Excel for scheduling. When… Continue

"Agile Retrospectives: Making Good Teams Great (Paperback) Derby & Larsen ISBN-10: 0977616649 Is a great book on how to run retrospectives. The exercises could be used with teams that are not Agile or Scrum teams. I highly recommend it."

Any other comments about yourself?
I'm a collaboration nerd. In later years this has brought me to online collaboration. I have an extremely soft spot for wikis and what they can be used for. Working at Projectplace is of course a way for me to cultivate that collaboration nerd in me while getting payed for it.
